GI Stasis with Gas

This rabbit, Faye, developed GI Stasis (a slowdown or stoppage of the gastrointestinal system) due to pain from molar spurs. The gas present was tremendous, as you can see from the darkened areas in the x-rays. Faye died just 7 hours after these x-rays were taken.
