DE NIRO

On September 24, De Niro had reached 170 grams. He continued to flourish and became a loving, dear boy. He waited patiently on his "mom's" lap for his feeding turn and was the first to learn to binky. As a result, he hurt his hind legs on a few occasions (boisterous binkies were a hazard!), but recovered with flying colours. On October 5, De Niro decided he no longer wanted formula and began eating pellets and alfalfa hay only. His digestive system adjusted well and on that day, weighed 365 grams, only increasing from that day forward. As of November 23 (at 16 weeks), De Niro weighed what seemed an incredible 4.85 lbs/2.2 kg!

De Niro was officially adopted on March 6, 2009!

On April 20, 2009 at 7 and a half months, De Niro weighed 8.5 lbs/3.85kg.
