Sawyer needs your help!

A very sad boy named Sawyer arrived at the rescue on March 12, 2008 with an advanced retrobulbar abscess. His long road to recovery included two major surgeries (one to remove his eye), ongoing medication and intensive care, skyrocketing his veterinary bills. Please visit his Treatment page for more information on his condition and recovery. Sawyer was a very lucky boy to have come through this treatment with flying colours and to be adopted to an incredible family on August 12, 2008.

Some rabbits like Sawyer arrive at New Moon Rabbit Rescue who have surgical and medical needs beyond the average and after his own ordeal, Sawyer wants to help those other rabbits that are not as lucky as he was.

Sawyer's Fund was set up for those who wish to donate specifically to rabbits with special needs such as pasteurella and e.cuniculi infections, those requiring life-saving surgeries or those who reside at the rescue due to chronic, terminal health issues. Please see our current residents.
