Without the support of the public, organizations such as New Moon Rabbit Rescue could not exist. The medical costs alone (including spaying/neutering, rehabilitation, necessary surgeries and medication) far exceed our adoption fee and we depend upon fundraising activities and the generous donations of the public in order to continue our work with rabbits in need.

We currently achieve fundraising goals by attending Craft and Agricultural Fairs, Pet Events and other public events at which we have unique items for sale such as handmade rabbit toys and treats, toys for other animals and handcrafted gifts.

We also have an Annual Garage Sale & Bake Sale, which takes place the first weekend in May. Please see our Events page for more information. Beyond fundraising, the goal of these events is to raise awareness and to help educate the public on issues related to the care of domestic rabbits.

Remember, your donation of $10 or more is tax deductible and you will receive a tax receipt.
