NEVILLE'S STORY

Neville (then known as Rexi) came to us on April 10, 2009 with his friend (with whom he was not bonded) Frankie, who is currently available for adoption.

He had originally come from horrible conditions at a rabbit mill, but was taken home with a real family. Unfortunately, his family was no longer able to care for him. Although his family had been attempting to rehabilitate him, they had had no success.

Neville has a severe fear of humans that goes beyond anything the rescue volunteers have ever seen. He remains as a resident undergoing emotional rehabilitation as he learns to trust humans.

UPDATE MAY 7, 2009: Neville is progressing well and feeling comfortable enough to binky and play in the presence of humans. He still panics when confronted with human touch, but rescue volunteers are optimistic that he will be adoptable in the future.
