New Moon Rabbit Rescue is Registered Charity # 82515 0329 RR0001.
We are a "no-kill" organization dedicated to providing care for rescued domestic rabbits.
Thank you for helping us continue to make a difference in so many rabbits lives.
Cashew came to us on April 27 after being found behind a dumpster. He had no less than seven abscesses over his body, including one on his jaw. Surgery to remove these and trim overgrown molars on May 1 took a whopping 2.5 hours! The abscesses on his body healed well, however the one on his chin reappeared and he underwent a second procedure on May 29. As of July 4, the abscess has not come back and although he is still in treatment, we are hoping that Cashew will be neutered and available for adoption soon.
The cost of Cashew's treatment so far, is over $2500. If you would like to make a donation to help with Cashew's treatment and other veterinary costs (including over $3000 for the spays/neuters of Scarlett, Tonks and McGonagall's babies!), you can do so through Canada Helps or Paypal. As always, thank you for your generosity!
