NEW MOON RABBIT RESCUE

New Moon Rabbit Rescue was established in the fall of 2006. We are a no-kill rescue dedicated to unwanted, abandoned, neglected and abused domestic rabbits to give them a second chance to find a loving home.

FOSTER HOMES ARE ALWAYS NEEDED. We operate exclusively through fosters and can only accommodate as many rabbits as there are available foster homes. Please apply today.

We need your help! We are unable to accommodate more rabbits without available fosters.

Help us help the rabbits! Read our Fostering For New Moon document and fill out an Application today. Cages/exercise pens, litterboxes, bowls and toys can always be supplied and remember that medical costs are provided by the rescue.

Fosters new to rabbits are welcome and we are happy to provide information on requirements, health, care, etc. at any time. Check out our Rabbit Care section for the basics.

Please email us if you have any questions regarding rabbit care and requirements or fostering a rabbit for New Moon Rabbit Rescue. Questions are also welcome on our Forum, so feel free to join. If you are unable to foster at this time, but would like to help, please consider making a donation to the rabbits of New Moon.

RABBITS IN TREATMENT

Cookie's corneal ulcer is healing well, but during his neuter and molar trim procedure, it was discovered that he once again had severe spurs. These were trimmed and loose teeth attempted to be extracted, however they broke in the vet's attempt. Cookie will continue to be monitored for ongoing molar issues. He continues to eat well and is in wonderful spirits as always.
