NEW MOON RABBIT RESCUE
New Moon Rabbit Rescue was established in the fall of 2006. We are a no-kill rescue dedicated to unwanted, abandoned, neglected and abused domestic rabbits to give them a second chance to find a loving home.
FOSTER HOMES ARE ALWAYS NEEDED. We operate exclusively through fosters and can only accommodate as many rabbits as there are available foster homes. Please apply today.

The 10 rabbits New Moon was able to take from the massive seizure in Manitoulin Island arrived the evening of June 27. Their profiles will be up soon! All are currently being treated for respiratory infections due to Pasteurella. They are also all being treated for Rabbit Syphilis. Zinka also has a small but highly treatable abscess on her stomach which will be removed at the time of her spay. And poor Thor has a VERY SEVERE abscess on his front left leg, elbow, and chest with extensive tissue damage. He is currently on antibiotics and pain killers to help manage the abscess. Vets will attempt to remove his abscess and dead and damage skin in about a week so that Thor has had some time of stress free living before these procedures begin. Costs for Thor treatment are expected to be high. If you can spare some change to help Thor out, please consider making a donation. If you would like to help with the costs of the 7 Montreal SPCA bunnies and the 9 bunnies coming to us through this horrible situation, please consider making a donation.
